How your documents are kept private
Where your ID is stored, who can open it, and what happens when you delete your account.
- Identity documents are stored in a private area of the server — they are not reachable by a public link.
- Only staff who verify accounts can open them, and every look-up is recorded.
- Passwords are encrypted, and sign-in codes expire after a few minutes.
- When you delete your account, your documents are removed with it.
