Every rider verifies their identity once. It keeps vehicles safe and lets you book without paperwork at pickup.
What you need#

| SRM AP students | University ID card (front and back) and your basic details |
| Staff, faculty and others | A photo ID |
| Self-drive cars | A driving licence as well (see Driving licence for self-drive cars) |
Good to know
Aadhaar is requested only where it is required, and only with your consent.
Upload your documents#
- 1Open Profile → Verification (or tap the verification alert on the home screen).
- 2Fill in the details that are still missing.
- 3Upload clear photos of your documents. A progress bar shows the upload — photos are compressed on your phone first, so it is quick even on mobile data.
- 4Submit. Our team reviews it and you get a notification.
Verification statuses#
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Some details or documents are still missing |
| Submitted | We have your documents and are reviewing them |
| Verified | You are approved and can book |
| Rejected | Something needs fixing — the reason is shown. Upload again |
Tip
Make sure all four corners of the card are visible, the text is sharp and there is no glare.
Frequently asked questions#
How long does verification take?
Usually the same day. You get a notification and an e-mail as soon as it is done.
Who can see my documents?
Only verification staff. Documents are stored privately and are never shown publicly.
